Have you ever felt like you were in a rut with your personal Bible study? Bible Art Journaling is a fun way to breathe fresh air into your Bible time. Combining the voice of Holy Spirit, the scriptures and your natural creativity can make the Word of God not only come alive, but also seal your revelations in your heart and your Bible.

12th Century Serbian Gospels
Did you know the earliest copies of the New Testament were illustrated by scribes around 400 A.D? Even today their hand-written pages filled with colorful and intricate paintings still shed light on the passages copied.
In this workshop we will study a scripture and choose a favorite visual medium to illustrate what Holy Spirit reveals. Don’t worry if you are nervous about creating in your own Bible, there will be copied scripture pages available to experiment on. If you do have a Bible and/or supplies you would like to use, please bring them along.
You don’t think you can draw or paint? You don’t have to be an artist! Do you enjoy scrapbooking, stamping or stencils? Maybe you prefer lettering? Learn how to create ‘art,’ layouts or beautiful lettering to really make the Word stand out. Tips and resources will be available.
Maybe it’s time to think about creating a visual reminder of your study, after all, a picture is worth a thousand words.
